The Seller’s Journey
Seller clients start with a complimentary initial consultation to learn about their business and goals.
Once under contract we quickly move into an exploration period that results in purpose based advice for preparing the business for sale, a charted path towards the eventual listing process, and preliminary discussion of post-exit goals for business owner(s).
Listing the business, matching with a buyer, and guidance through a transaction are eventual goals, but our seller clients start by getting clarity around what they want and when they will be ready to get it.
The Buyer’s Journey
Buyer clients complete a process to identify the kind of business opportunity that will best match with their own unique values and purpose.
We then seek out opportunities that are a fit for the buyer client’s identified purpose, as well as the buyer’s financial capabilities, general or specific experience level, and other factors.
Finding the right business for a buyer client is as much about the buyer as it is about the business.
Post-Closing Support (Both)
Seller clients get complimentary post-closing support to help stay on track with the purpose based goals identified early on. Some sellers may also return as buyer clients, finding that after a short break they are ready to start that next new adventure.
Buyer clients get complimentary post-closing support to help them retain, recruit, and prepare a team that matches to the buyer’s purpose based goals. We offer this purpose based recruiting and placement service on an a la carte basis as well, subject to limited availability.
